    Howdy Paul, We haven't met but hope to someday. I will admit I am envious of you fab/shop skills and love the way you approach things to just make what you need. You are a huge asset to SevenOffroad and we are lucky to have you.

    Where do you live? Des Moines, IA

    What do you do for a living? System Administrator

    Tell us about your family. Beautiful Wife Erica, son Hunter (14) and daughter Tatum (10), 2 Labs Bolt (4) and Sprocket (2). We got married in 2012 after i proposed in Moab at the overlook on Hell's Revenge.

    Have you ever served in the military? no, but i appreciate and thank those who have served.

    Tell us about your current off-road vehicle. 2007 JKUR. Manual. 315/70's, Slabs, 3" Evo Enforcer lift, i made the front bumper, sliders, aluminum rockerskins, rear fascia, single action tire carrier, rotopax mounts, diy spod, york oba, all 4 heated seats

    Is your rig a daily driver? yes

    How long have you been wheeling? off and on since i was in high school. started with a buddy's toyota on 35's and then another buddy got a cj7 on 33's. We used to have a spot in town you could wheel at, we went there every weekend, and a few times i took a front wheel drive Honda civic thru a few of the trails

    What off-road rigs have you owned in the past? XJ on 35's, Tj on 36's, another TJ, WJ on 31's and a WJ on 32's.

    What are some of your hobbies outside of off-roading? Music (played bass in bands for years. although i don't play anymore, both kids are playing bass in orchestra) Volleyball (had a sand court in my old backyard, i still play on a power coed team), Mountain Biking

    Do you have a favorite vacation destination? Colorado. I am like a little kid at christmas when i get to see the Rockies each year

    How would you describe Seven Offroad? Good group of wheelers, great experience and knowledge.

    What is your Dream Build? i really like where my build is right now, good for most everything in Iowa and about half of CO/Moab. but a V8, d60's and 40's would be nice ;)

    What are your wheeling goals? We would like to get back to Moab soon. AZ, Rubicon, PNW.

    Do you have any scary moments while wheeling that you would like to share? CO- Left Hand Canyon trail. We were in our silver WJ, coming down a switchback with a ledge, i knew i would drop a tire and be off camber, but the jeep just kept tipping down into the switchback turn, while i was staring straight down 500 ft. The tire never landed, so i backed up and it tipped worse. i put back in drive and the passenger rear shot up but the driver front came down finally.

    What is your favorite trail? Middle St Vrain in CO, one we try to do every year. Water crossings are my wife's favorites

    The fishing pic is Hunter and his grandpa Mike. They like to fish while Erica and Tatum and I will hit trails. Mike was fly fishing and almost got me with the hook in my face when i went behind them to take that picture

    I hope you had to run that civic in reverse to get it through those trails!

    That sounds like a blast, and is love to get an old beater to do that with!

    and Jason, another positive for living in CO would be Moab only being a few hours away instead of 16 hours from Des Moines
